HCS Trash Raker Features
Offering a manually-controlled or fully automatic system, HCS produces the finest electro-mechanical trash rakers to keep trash racks clean and functioning in any weather. Our trash rakers use no hydraulics, eliminating the associated maintenance and the risks of hydraulic oil leaks and spills into waterways.
Available patented rack and pinion drive system ensures consistent powered movement and location accuracy even in extreme conditions, such as high winds, rain, snow and ice. The drive system can be configured to operate around curved rail structures. U.S. Patent No. 9,539,528
The patented articulating rake head is gear driven and capable of rotating 180° in the dump position, significantly reducing or eliminating the necessity for manual removal of residual debris from the rake head. U.S. Patent No. 10,226,721
You have the option of controlling your HCS trash raker two ways:
- Using a handheld radio-controlled pendant at your water intake
- Using a fully automatic system that can be activated at the water intake or from a remote location
